Incorporated in September 2007, eGumball began operations in a small office, barely large enough to accommodate its three employees. At the time, our company’s computer equipment consisted of a single Pentium 1 desktop computer, shared among the employees. From the very beginning it was our goal to provide businesses across America with the most effective local SEO services available. By the end of the first year our efforts and dedication had resulted in our small company building a customer portfolio of over 300 satisfied clients. Many of them are still with us to this day.
Our second year saw substantial growth, which included the addition of a few technical and service employees, and a significant investment in technological equipment. One Pentium 1 PC was no longer going to be enough to accommodate our ever increasing service load. By the end of our second year, our number of clients had grown to 600 satisfied business owners.
Armed with freshly developed technologies, a more substantial amount of technical and support employees, and a steadily growing client portfolio, we entered 2009 feeling strong. Within 12 months, eGumball’s continued commitment to our clients was beginning to pay huge dividends, and we finished the year with over 3,000 businesses utilizing our services.
In 2010 eGumball, Inc. relocated to Irvine, California, and we increased our staff to well over 50 service and support personnel. We also opened our second set of eGumball’s R&D offices, also known as our think-tank in Washington State. This is where the majority of our new technologies are being developed today.
By the end of 2013 we had contracted two globally recognized search engine optimization and promotion specialists as part of our team. This move enabled us to step beyond simple, local business promotion, to provide top class local SEO services to all our clients. During this time, we also developed an internal customer relationship management (CRM) initiative to facilitate our growth and improve our - communications.
