eGumball, Inc. Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 2, 2026
eGumball, Inc. ("eGumball," "we," "us") is a business-to-business local search marketing company in Irvine, California. This policy explains what information we collect through www.egumball.com, our client control panel, our phone lines and our services, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
It applies to business owners and their staff who contact us or become our clients, visitors to our website, and people who apply to work with us.
Information We Collect
Information you give us

- Demo requests: the information above, plus the pin code we give you to view your demonstration.
- Client accounts: your business details and the information we need to manage your listings, websites and campaigns, such as business hours, services, photos and access to your Google Business Profile, Google Ads or website accounts. We also keep billing details needed to invoice you and collect payment.

Information collected automatically
- With form submissions: your IP address, the page you submitted from, and the page or ad that referred you, so we can respond, route your request and prevent spam.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, such as pages viewed, time on site, device and browser type, and approximate location. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this.
- Site operation and security: our web server sets a session cookie that the site needs to work, and our site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes connection information such as IP addresses to protect the site from attacks and abuse. Our servers also keep standard logs.
- Embedded content: some pages load fonts from Google Fonts and videos from YouTube. Those services receive your IP address and browser information when the content loads.

Business Information We Publish for Clients
Much of our work is publishing your business information. When you are our client, we submit your business name, address, phone number, hours, website, photos and description to Google, directories such as Yelp, Facebook and Bing, and the data providers those sites rely on. That information is public by design, and those sites handle it under their own privacy policies. If you ask us to change or remove business information we manage, we will update it where we have access.
How We Share Information
We share personal information only as described here:
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, Cloudflare, Google Analytics, email, phone and payment services. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
- Platforms, at your direction: when you are our client, we share your business information with Google, directories and data providers to do the work you hired us for.
- Legal reasons: when required by law, legal process or a government request, or to protect the rights, property or safety of eGumball, our clients or others.
- Business transfers: if eGumball is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not share personal information with other companies for their own direct marketing.
Cookies and Analytics
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, although some features may not. To stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits, you can install the
Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Google explains how it uses this information in
How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Inquiries that do not become clients are kept for as long as they are useful for following up. Client records are kept for the length of the relationship and afterwards as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Do-not-call requests are kept for at least as long as the law requires, so that we keep honoring them.
How We Protect Information
Our site is served over encrypted HTTPS connections, access to client information is limited to the team members who need it to do their work, and control panel accounts are protected by passwords. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private and tell us right away if you think your account has been misused.
Your Choices
- Calls: ask any eGumball representative, call (800) 890-8940, or email info@egumball.com to be added to our do-not-call list.
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us. We will still send messages about your account and services.
- Access, correction and deletion: contact us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to the information we must keep for legal or business reasons.
California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, gives you these rights over your personal information, including information collected in a business-to-business context and from job applicants:

- Right to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first and honor opt-out requests, including Global Privacy Control signals.

In the past 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information, from you, from your use of our site and from our work for you, for the purposes described in this policy: identifiers (such as name, email address, phone number and IP address); commercial and business information (such as the services you bought and billing records); internet activity (such as pages viewed on our site); professional or employment information (such as your business details or job application); and account login credentials for our control panel, which we use only to give you access to your account. We disclose these categories only to the service providers and platforms described in How We Share Information.
To make a request, call (800) 890-8940 or email info@egumball.com. We will confirm your identity by matching information you give us with information we already hold, and respond within 45 days. If you contact us from Canada or elsewhere, you understand that your information will be handled in the United States and other countries where our team works, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
